William Heston Heilman

William Heston Heilman, 98 William was born October 21, 1915 in Evansville, IN, and died October 10, 2014, of natural causes in Lakeland. He married Janet Aikman in 1942. He graduated from Indiana University, Princeton Theological Seminary and Temple University School of Theology. As an ordained Presbyterian minister he served as pastor in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Illinois. He was also the administrator of Christian Education for the Synod of New Jersey, and from 1970-1988 he and his wife were administrators at Englishton Park, Lexington IN, a retirement home and summer children""s academic remediation camp. He and his wife moved to Florida Presbyterian Homes, Lakeland in 1997. Janet died in 2006. He is survived by their daughter, Elizabeth G Heilman and son, William A Heilman, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service at the Florida Presbyterian Homes Chapel will be held October 12, 2014, 2:00 p.m. in the Glenn Moore Chapel at Florida Presbyterian Homes, 16 Lake Hunter Drive, Lakeland.
