William E. Byrd

William E. Byrd, 81, Publix Lakeland " William E. Byrd, 81, passed away on April 26, 2012 due to heart failure. He was born August 11, 1930 in St. Petersburg, FL. He started working in the produce business and then worked in the insurance business. After retiring, he worked for Publix for 13 years. He was a member and on the staff at Scott Lake Baptist Church. William is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Smith. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Byrd, his daughter, Barbara (Eddie) Bailey, his son, Paul Byrd, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a son in law, Wayne Smith. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 10-11 am at Scott Lake Baptist Church. Service: 04/30/2012 Scott Lake Baptist Church
