Warren Gamaliel Addison, 92 Lakeland -Warren Addison, 92, passed away on April 30, 2013, in Lakeland, Florida. Warren was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country as a member of the 820th Tank Destroyer Battalion in the Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe campaigns. He was an active member of the American Legion in Spotsylvania, Virginia and Lakeland, Florida, and the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, Florida Citrus Chapter. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Virginia Witten Addison, parents, William Henry and Eva Phillips Addison, and his son, Larry Addison. Left to cherish his memories are his son Richard Addison (Violet), daughters Edye White (Richard), Kaye Coe (Steve), and Nancy Andersen (Peter), daughter-in-law Alice Augustyn (Larry), 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Betty Dowis and Irene Layman, several nieces and nephews, and many friends in Ohio, Virginia and Florida. Visitation will be held 3:00 -5:00 pm May 3 at Heath Funeral Chapel, Lakeland Fl and a memorial service at 2:00 pm May 4 in the Chapel at Florida Presbyterian Homes. A second memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on May 6 at Devore Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, Ohio followed by interment with military honors in Marengo, Ohio.
