Virginia Royall Bryan, age 103, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2021. She was born on November 7, 1917 in Arcadia, FL to Ivey G. and Annie P. Royall, was raised in Bowling Green, FL but she was a long-time resident of Lakeland and a graduate of Florida Southern College. She worked as a teacher, substitute teacher and associate teacher, and at one time grew beautiful daisies in her garden and sold them to Publix. She loved and cherished her family and friends most of all, and she loved spending time with both. She loved to tell stories, and she loved to go out shopping and play games. She was an avid and cut-throat Scrabble player, always enjoying the game, especially when she was the winner. She was a devoted member of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene where she loved attending services, and she loved her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved “darling” husband ND, her precious daughter Virginia Ruth Walling and her brother Ivey Grayson Royall. She is survived by her daughter MaryAnn Tallman (Ray). Three grandchildren Stacey Starling (Eric), Jeff Tallman (India) and Allison Norstrom (David). Great-grandchildren Tyler Drose Starling, Tanner Starling, Logan Norstrom, Noah Norstrom and Bailey, Chloe and Grayson Tallman and her loving nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, 4777 Lakeland Highlands Rd, Lakeland, FL 33813 on Sunday, January 31st at 1:30 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 S, Lakeland, FL 33812. Please wear your mask.
