Verna A. Crawford

Verna A. Crawford, 72 Lakeland - Mrs. Verna Crawford died Wednesday, May 22 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of heart failure. Mrs. Crawford graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1958, attended the University of Florida, and was a member of Gamma Mu 3509 Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha a service sorority for 40 years. Verna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas, her daughter, Alexis C. Livesay (Steven), son Timothy H. Crawford (Jamie), 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister, Joyce Balentine. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Heath Funeral Chapel with a reception following in the Tribute Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude""s Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
