Thomas J. Buckler, 81 Lakeland " Thomas J. Buckler, 81, was born November 1, 1931 in Brooksville, IN. He went home to be with the Lord October 5, 2013 in Tampa, FL due to complications from surgery. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and proudly served in the Korean War. He worked for Owens - Illinois as an operator. Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Marie. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Baumgardner, Christine Powell, Cindy Gartrell, Laura Johnson, Bridget Donnell, and Mary Buckler, twenty grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a Mass at St. Joseph""s Catholic Church to be said in Honor of Our Dad, or donations to Options for Woman, 4435 Florida National Drive, Lakeland, FL 33813. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, from 6-7 with a wake service to start at 7 pm at St. Joseph""s Catholic Church and a Mass will be held Thursday, October 10, at 1:30 pm.
