The Reverend Thomas Velbert Hatchett, 95 Minister Lakeland- The Reverend Thomas Velbert Hatchett died on February 12, 2013 at Palm Terrace of Lakeland. He was born June 10, 1917 in Mountainair, New Mexico. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Frances Louise Hatchett, Polk City, daughter, Sheila Sopko, son, Grady Hatchett, step-daughter, June Hamblen, stepson, Walker E.B. Guinn, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 5-7 pm in the Tribute Center at Heath Funeral Chapel and Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 15, 2013 at 10 am at Heath Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Socrum Cemetery.
