She is survived by her husband Peter James Gunn for 26 years. Tammy was born at Fort Bragg, NC to her parents Joel and Vivian Smith, she is also survived by her brothers, Dennis, David and Robert Smith. She left behind 11 nieces and 4 nephews. She was employed by SunTrust Bank for 18 years. She was an avid animal lover.
