Stephen Earl Cox, Jr.

Stephen Earl Cox, Jr. 74 Retired United States Air Force Lakeland- Mr. Steve Cox passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 of heart failure. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Connie Cox and son Stephen. Mr. Cox was born in Camilla, GA on November 26, 1937. He was preceded in death by both parents Steve and Hilda Cox and his sister, Barbara Hammonds. Steve was a retired veteran of the Air Force and later retired from the City of Lakeland. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, crossword puzzles, video poker and trips in the motor home. He was a supporter of St. Judes and The American Cancer Society. An informal memorial service will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Tribute Center.
