Shirley B. Maine

Shirley B. Maine, 93 Kraft Foods Shirley B. Maine passed away on December 20, 2013 due to natural causes. She was born on July 12, 1920 in Borodino, NY to Aylmer and Hazel Brown. Shirley was married to her husband, Russell, for 68 years and raised 4 children and 2 foster children. Her family moved to Lakeland in 1963 and became involved with the First United Methodist Church of Lakeland. She retired from Kraft Foods after 10 years as a billing clerk. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Russell; foster daughter, Marie Becker; granddaughter, Holly Osgood; a brother and two sisters. She is survived by son, Ronald Maine of Rhode Island; daughters, Kathleen Osgood of Alberta, Canada, Nita Bean of Hollywood, FL, Terry West of Lakeland; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Heath Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th at 11:00 AM at Heath Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
