Sherly was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Baptized in 1953, she dedicated her life to serving Jehovah with incredible faith, obedience, and zeal for over 70 years.
On May 1, 1965, Sherly married the love of her life, Roy L. Sullivan, and she loved her family very much. She relentlessly kept a positive spirit, always loved life, and shared a big, genuine, enduring smile that lifted all around her. Sherly loved going to the Kingdom Hall and spending time with her cherished friends and family. She always impressed with her incredible charm, natural sense of humor, and unshakable determination. Her loving, selfless heart made a positive impact on everyone that met her and will never be forgotten.
Sherly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and “MeMe.” She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy L. Sullivan; her son, David John Busbee; and her parents, David and Esther Hathaway.
She is survived by her daughter, Windi Flynn; step-sons, Roy “Butch” Sullivan, Jr., and John “Johnny” Lewis Sullivan; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sandra Fay (Comeaux) Busbee; cousin, Ann Crockett; and numerous other family and friends.
