Sandra Myers Honeycutt Sandra Myers Honeycutt died peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2014 due to complications from cancer. She was 69. Born November 28, 1944, Sandi was a native of St. Louis, Missouri, but lived the life of an ""army brat,"" growing up in Yokohama, Japan; Keflavik, Iceland; and Balboa, Panama Canal Zone. She graduated from Deland High School and attended Stetson University. Sandi came to Lakeland in 1963, and worked at Peterson, Carr, Harris and Seacrest and then for several years at the Florida Phosphate Council. She has been the Executive Assistant at United Way of Central Florida since 1994. Sandi is a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a Minister to the Sick and a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion. Sandi is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth David Honeycutt, her mother, Florence Siess Myers, and her father, Theodore Maurice Myers. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Honeycutt Sale, her son-in-law, Robert H. Sale, and her grandchildren, Peyton Elizabeth Sale and Harold Mahlon Sale. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 6, at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Monsignor Caufield Legacy Fund at St. Joseph's Academy, P.O.
