Samuel Davis “Dave” Hall, age 64, passed away on Thursday July 19, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 21, 1954 in Plant City, Florida, to the late Wilson and Earline Hall. He graduated from Hardee County High School and South Florida Community College. Dave worked over 40 years in the phosphate industry as a machinist and an industrial mechanic. He retired from Mid-State Industrial Maintenance on June 1, 2018. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in the Florida Panhandle or in the mountains of Murphy, NC. He loved spending time with his family and reading books about “old” Florida. He had an unforgettable sense of humor and was a loving husband, father, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly Hall, daughter, Kelli Lozano, and son-in-law, Osias, son, Brent Hall, and daughter-in-law, Amy, sister Alice Rivera and brother-in-law, Joe, and sister, Jeni (Lora) Adamson, and brother-in-law, Jim, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Earline Hall, and brother, Angus Hall. A memorial service will be on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11 am at Shepherd Road Presbyterian Church, 1217 Shepherd Road, Lakeland, FL 33811. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may go to Shepherd Road Presbyterian Church’s building fund, 1217 Shepherd Road, Lakeland, FL 33811 or to one’s favorite charity.
