Ruth Louise Edwards

Ruth L. (Jones) Edwards, 84 Ruth L. Edwards was born on December 21, 1927 in Lakeland, FL and went to be with Jesus on May 15, 2012 due to congested heart failure. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, W. Travis Edwards. She is survived by her three children, Mease (Geri) Ratley, Wayne (Esther) Edwards, Sandra Edwards Stewart; four grandchildren, Nicki Edwards, Tricia (Chris) Ayers Clark, Jessica Stewart Brown, Kris Edwards, and one step-grandchild, Kevin (Brandi) Stewart; seven grandchildren, Devon, Jayde, Trevor, Mariah, Chaston, Julius, and Jeslyn, and three step-great grandchildren, Nathan, Ashlyn, and Lauren. She will be missed greatly and will continue to live in our hearts until we see her again. We love you mom/grandma. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 5 " 7 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel with burial at Lakeview Cemetery.
