Rose Marcella Wagoner Harrison, 84, Lakeland " Rose Marcella Wagoner Harrison, 84, died on March 10, 2012 due to cancer. She was born in Bourbon County Kentucky to Layson and Maude Wagoner. She graduated from Asbury College where she met the love of her life, Ray Harrison. Rose and Ray were married in 1951 and after Ray finished his degree in Theology he was appointed to the Florida Conference. Rose was at his side throughout his 35 years of ministry. Rose was a dedicated wife and lifelong Methodist. After Ray""s retirement, they spent many summers in their second home in Lake Junaluska, NC. Rose was a loving and nurturing mother to their three children. Faith and family were her top priorities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray and brother, Layson Wagoner. Survivors include daughters Renee Long, Lakeland, Rochelle (Phil) Harrison-Shoemaker, Alaska, and her son Ragan (Kim) Harrison, Tallahassee, six grandchildren, Eric and Dirk Williamson, Taj and Tia Shoemaker, Jodie and Jamie Wells, two great grandchildren, sister, Payge Speakes, Denver, CO and a brother Robin (Carolyn) Wagoner of Cocoa Beach. The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 16th from 5-7pm at Heath Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at First United Methodist Church on Saturday March 17th at 10:00 am, with reception following. The family would like to thank Cornerstone Hospice and Florida Presbyterian Home""s, nursing staff at the ALF and Health Center for her care.
