Roland Lane Alderman

Roland Lane Alderman 87 Carpenter Lakeland- Mr. Roland Lane Alderman died on March 20, 2012 at his home of cancer. He was born on April 18, 1924 in Brewster, Florida. Mr. Alderman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was an active member of the Florida Trail Association. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Mary Louise Hefferan Alderman and grandson, Andrew S. Alderman. Survivors include sons, Michael J. (Silvia) Alderman, Tallahassee, Fl., Patrick L. (Kathryn) Alderman, Lakeland, Fl., daughter, Mary Jo Alderman, Plant City, Fl., 4 grandchildren, Matthew Alderman, Scott Hollingsworth, Chelsea Hollingsworth, Cameron Hollingsworth and brother, Ralph (Ann) Alderman, Homosassa, Fl. Memorials may be made to Florida Trail Association, 5415 S.W. 13th Street, Gainesville, Fl. 32608. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass.
