Roland David Vanzant, Jr

David Vanzant was born September 3, 1954, the son of Roland D. Vanzant Sr. and Genivieve Vanzant. David graduated from Titusville High School in 1972. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from Florida Southern College in 1976. David was an active member of the TKE fraternity where he has many loving brothers.

David was a sales representative and supervisor for Pepsico, Nabisco, General Foods, and Frito-Lay. He received many top seller awards as well as outstanding service awards.

David was married to the love of his life Betsy for 19 years. She predeceased him in 2015. They traveled, enjoyed life and adored each other. They shared many mutual interests that brought them years of joy.

David is survived by his mother, Genivieve Vanzant, sister, Debbie (Brad), brother Doug ( Kathy ), nieces and nephews Greg (Jen ), Grant (Julia ), Michelle, Rachel ( Alex ). He is the great uncle to Ethan, Lila, and Declan.

David was a friend to everyone he met. He was kind, generous and caring. His favorite times were spent with family. There wasn’t a family celebration that he didn’t attend. David’s family will miss his love, sense of humor, opinions, politics, and dreams. He will be greatly missed. There is a hole in our hearts that will only be healed when we join him in heaven.

Funeral services will be private for immediate family and invited guests only.

In lieu of flowers we respectfully ask that donations can be made to the United Methodist Children’s Home.
