He is preceded in death by his father, George Barfield and brother, Ronnie Barfield. Roger is survived by one son, Jason Barfield (Yvette), one daughter Allison Skinner (James), former wife, Jane Thomas (x2), mother, Marie Sharpe, Sisters, Opal Pipkin, Charlotte Cherryhomes, Owida Taylor, brothers, David Sharpe, Donald Sharpe, three grandchildren, Destiny, Elizabeth, Maddie and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016, at 10:00 am at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL, 33801, with a service following at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Fitzgerald Cemetery.
