Roger Alan James, Sr., 74 Electronics Engineer Lakeland " Mr. Roger A. James, Sr., of Lakeland passed away on July 11, 2014 due to heart failure. He was 74 years old. Roger was born in San Diego, CA on November 10, 1940. He moved to Lakeland in 1941. He was an Electrician for Walt Disney World, retired after 20 years. He had worked in Electronics for Texas Instruments, RCA, Diebold, Motorola, Honeywell, Piper Aircraft, and Beech Aircraft. He was a Navy Veteran, D.J. for WLK in high school, member of Polk County Computer Club, P.C.U.G, and a member of First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by wife Janice of 38 years. Daughters: Coral Ann James, and Linda Gentry, Son: Roger A. James Jr. and 5 grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
