Robert Emmitt Howell, 91 Postman Lakeland- Mr. Robert Emmitt Howell died on November 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1921 in Geneva, Alabama. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Howell graduated from Florida Southern College in 1949 with a degree in Business. He was a Deacon at Victory Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Howell, Lakeland, daughter, Donna Jean Murphy, Lakeland, 4 grandchildren, Cheryl Warren, Christy Warren, David Warren, Kelli Defoe, 8 great grandchildren, Melonie, Robert, Ashley, Erin, Adrian, Kaitlyn, Jaqai, Emoni, and 2 great great grandchildren, Aidan and Jordyn.
