Robert E. Adcock, Sr. PhD, 102 Agricultural Attache for the United States Government Lakeland- Mr. Robert E. Adcock, Sr. PhD. died August 24, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1910 in Hartman, Arkansas. He was member of Alpha Zeta Agricultural fraternity while attending Oklahoma State University. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Adcock was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Perkins, Oklahoma, a member of the Rotary Club in Harrison, Arkansas and he was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees. Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by his 1st wife of 67 years, Catherine J. Adcock. Survivors include his 2nd wife of 10 years, Ruth W. Adcock, Lakeland, sons, Robert E. Adcock, Jr., Lakeland, James M. Adcock, PhD, McDonough, Ga., 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
