Robert "Bob" W Andrew, Sr

Robert W. “Bob” Andrew, Sr. Banker Lakeland- Bob Andrew, age 80 passed away on December 11, 2017 peacefully to a much better life. He was born in Newark, NJ on December 2, 1937. Bob graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Business and continued his education at LSU, receiving a Master's degree in Banking. He retired as a lifelong banker in 2000. He spent many hours serving and volunteering in the community. He served as past president of The Lakeland Rotary Club, past president of the Polk Theatre, past president of the State Prevention of Blindness, past Trustee of the Lakeland Regional Medical Center, and was one of the original starters of Community Southern Bank, where he served as chairman of the board. He was baptized and attended The First Baptist Church at the Mall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Andrew, and his stepmother Arlene Andrew. Bob is survived by his wife, Cecelia Andrew; 3 sons, Bobby, Richard, and Scott Andrew, and daughter, Anne-Marie Hearn (Walter); 3 stepsons, Terry Harris, Tim Harris (Rhonda), and Kenneth Harris (Michelle); 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, Florida. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Heath Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland, Florida.
