Robert Alan Skillman, 62 Teacher Lakeland: Robert Alan Skillman, 62, of Lakeland, died January 8, 2013. He was born on March 29, 1950 in Lakeland. He was retired from the Polk County School System after 30 years teaching at Oscar J. Pope Elementary. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Jerry Skillman; survived by one daughter Jennifer (Russ) Maul; one brother Mike Skillman; two sisters Debbie (Marc) Steinberg and Sandy (Mike) Pyron; one granddaughter Emily Maul and one niece and one nephew.
