Richard ""Dick"" Thomas Richter, 63 State of Florida Lakeland " Richard ""Dick"" Thomas Richter. 63, passed from his life on November 10, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice due to cardiac arrest. Dick was born on September 8, 1949 in Joliet, Illinois to William and Evelyn Richter. Dick moved to Lakeland in 1954. He graduated from LHS in 1967. He graduated from PCC, attended UF, and graduated from USF in 1972. Dick worked for the State of Florida in social work, child support enforcement, fraud investigation, and as a network administrator. He also worked for Aetna Insurance for several years. Dick married Suzanne in 1977 and their son, Christopher was born in 1981. Dick""s passion was fling. He earned private pilot""s license in 1979. Dick enjoyed spending time with friends riding motorcycles. Dick is survived by his wife, son, and mother. He predeceased by his father. Visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 5-7 pm. The funeral will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10:30 am.
