Richard D. Wagner Polk City, FL: Richard D. Wagner, 75, died Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center as a result of respiratory failure. Born in Maplewood, NJ, he retired from the US Air force in 1975 after which he worked as an Engineer until his retirement in 1998. He is survived by Suzanne, his loving wife of 49 years, his two sons, Richard (Julie) and Karl (Susan), his daughter Sherri (Steven) Winslow, his sister Jane (Victor) Parsonet and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave. Lakeland, FL 33801 on Friday May 25, 2012 at 3:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to his favorite charity, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
