Richard B. Willis, 102 Lakeland " Richard B. Wills passed away at home on November 1, 2015. He was born in Macon, Georgia to Rev. and Mrs. E. C. Wills, Sr. Richard attended and graduated from Orlando Senior High where he played football and basketball. Mr. Wills was Sales manager of Datson Dairies Inc. in Orlando for 14 years; Sales manager at Boutwell Dairies Inc., in Lake Worth, Florida for 6 years; President and Controller for Citrus Transit Inc. of Florida for 25 years. He also served as President of the National Independent Dairy Sales Manager Assoc. for 8 years; was on the Board of Directors for the Ford Philpot Evangelistic Assoc. for 20 years. Mr. Wills was also listed in Marquis of Who""s Who 1984-85 for the South and Southwest. He was proud to be commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by Gov. Johny Brown, Jr. in 1989. Mr. Wills was preceded in death by his wife Willie R. Wills of 46 years, and granddaughter Kimberly A. Selph 20 years old. Also preceding him were his four brothers and one sister, four sisters- in- law, and one brother- in- law. Surviving Richard is his wife Caroline G. Wills, Ada Lee Wills, sister - in " law, daughters Dorothy A. Bradley and Eldon Bradley Son-in-law, Wilma R Selph and Donald Selph Son-in-law, Margaret L. White, Leeman White, Son-in-law, Ellen Hyatt, Step-daughter. He was blessed to have six grandchildren, and six great-grand-children along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wills was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Lakeland, and had attended the Homebuilders S.S. Class. A visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10 am in the Tribute Center. Graveside service and interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
