Rev. Jerry F. Conner

The Reverend Jerry Conner went to be with his Lord, whom he loved with all his heart, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Jerry was born in Lenoir City, TN, on July 2, 1931, the ninth child of J. Floyd and Myrtle (Shaffer) Conner. He pastored churches in Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and Lakeland, FL. He is survived by his wife Norma; two sons, Jason Conner, MS, and Tom Conner (Jennifer), Lakeland; two daughters, Ann Zimmerman (Gary), Lakeland, and Amy Turner (Chris), Jesup, GA; 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Schrodt, Memphis, TN, Barbara Jean Carrell, Tyler, TX; and two Brothers-in-law, Charles Crawford (Vicki) & John Crawford (Ann). A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church on July 3, 2021, at 11:00 am with graveside services following at 12:30 pm at Oak Hill Burial Park. A reception will follow at the family’s residence.
