Rausine Thomas Edwards

Rausine Thomas Edwards, 100 Lakeland: Rausine T. Edwards, born December 13, 1914, passed away at home, passed away at home on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was a retired beautician and seamstress and a member of the Scott Lake Baptist Church, Tropical Doll Study Club, Tuesday Music Club and the Daughters of the Nile. Rausine is preceded in death by husbands, Henry Harvey Hickey and Raleigh Edwards, her parents, a son Charles Ray Hickey and 10 siblings. She is survived by her son, Joseph Hickey and his companion, Debbie Sanford; two grandchildren, John Hickey and Maryann Wnuk, one great-grandchild, Emma Wnuk; one sister, Annie Louise Moore of Cocoa Beach and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday October 30, 2015 from 10-11 A.M. followed by a service at 11:00 A.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave., Lakeland, FL. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park. If you wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 3470 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33805.
