Phyllis Jean Jacobs

Phyllis Jean Jacobs, 75 Southeastern University Phyllis Jacobs passed away on December 10, 2013 due to respiratory failure at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 14, 1938 in Gary IN. to William and Naomi Maurer. Phyllis worked at Southeastern University as a financial aid counselor for 25 years. She was a long time member of Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland and enjoyed singing in the choir. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Richard Jacobs and her twin sister Carol Haberle. She is survived by her children; Debra Jacobs, Garrett (Kathy) Jacobs, and Deanna (Howard) Bayless; and 7 Grandchildren. A viewing will be held Sunday December 15, 2013 from 3 - 5 pm at the Tribute Center at Heath Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday December 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland.
