Patricia Ann Byrd

Patricia Ann Byrd was born December 7, 1930, to Morris and Margaret Kendall McManus, in New Albany, Indiana.

She lived a happy childhood in New Albany through graduation from high school, before starting her work career with American Creosote.

Pat was married to Howard Byrd, a General Manager at Union Camp, for more than 40 years. They relocated to Savannah, GA, then on to Lakeland, FL in 1969.

Pat is survived by her brother, Don McManus, and sons, Rick, Steve, and Kevin, along with three adult grandchildren. “

Family first” was her motto and Pat lived it every day. She passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023, at Lakeland Hospice House, just a week shy of her 93rd birthday.
