Olive Lovell

Olive Joan Lovell Lakeland, Florida - Olive Joan Lovell was born on May 9th, 1929 in Wappingers Falls, NY. She departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2016 in Lakeland, FL. She was the daughter of the late Julia Pinte and Everett Lee. On September 25, 1949, she married Gerald Joseph Lovell in Poughkeepsie, NY who predeceased her in 1992. Olive was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was employed for 26 years at IBM in Poughkeepsie. Olive had a passion for beautiful objects, especially antiques, which led to her business Love-Lee Antiques. She enjoyed finding and selling antiques for 20 years. To cherish her memory Olive leaves her three sons: Gerald Joseph Lovell, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Lakeland, FL, James Brian Lovell of Poughkeepsie, NY and Les T. Lovell and his wife, Dawn of Catalina, AZ; seven sisters: Charlotte Moore, Jean Feasel, Jane Lucas, Ann Pahlack, Diana Kyle, Ellen Johnson, Sandra Lee; one brother, William Lee; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers: Howard, Allison, Delbert and George Lee, and by three sisters: Vivian Tacinelli, June Lombardi and Caroline Barton. On Saturday, January 16, 2016 a small family memorial was held in Lakeland, FL. A private memorial service will be held in Poughquag, NY for family members and close friends at a later date.
