Nina Lucille Brewer

Nina Lucille Brewer passed way at her home, Grace Manor Suites, on Wednesday April 6, 2016, in Lakeland, Florida. Nina was member of Christian Congregation Church in Alexandria, Indiana, and was also a member of the Lioness Club. She enjoyed playing cards, watching ballgames on TV and attending games at the field. Nina was an avid bowler, and was inducted in the Norwood Bowl Hall of Fame. Nina Lucille was in preceded in death by her father, Dewey ""Nick"" Huggins, and her Mother, Vesta (Jones) Huggins. She is survived by her loving Husband of 57 years, Walter Lee Brewer; their only child, Rick Brewer and wife Lisa, of Lakeland, Florida; four grandchildren; Ryan Brewer and partner Holly of Indianapolis, Indiana; Captain Logan Brewer, USMC, of Beaufort, South Carolina; Lauren Shepherd and husband Dan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Raven Brewer of Fort Wayne Indiana; four siblings, sister Nelda Hopper and husband Larry of Georgia; brother Jerry Huggins and wife Marcia of Georgia; sister Priscilla Smith and husband Dave of Alexandria, Indiana; and sister Kim Reed and husband Jim of Alexandria, Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews. A private family viewing will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2016. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Alexandria, Indiana.
