Naomi May Mathewson

Naomi May Mathewson, 80, of Mulberry, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House, Lakeland, FL. She was born on May 1, 1937 to Clifton and Myrtle Wentworth in Naples, NY. She and her husband, Clyde, were young teen sweethearts who married in 1958. She served alongside her pastor-husband in five churches in PA, NY, OH, and FL for 56 years. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clyde Mathewson; son, Timothy Mathewson, Lakeland, FL; daughter, Melanie Taylor and husband, Scott, Portsmouth, VA; grandchildren, Andrew and Hannah Taylor, Portsmouth, VA; brother-in-law, Norman Knauss, Lakeland, FL; sister-in-law, Leatha Wentworth, Dansville, NY; brother-in-law, Ivan Mathewson and wife Lois, Mansfield, PA; sister-in-law, Ruth Mathewson, Lacon, IL; cousin, Harold Ellerington, Sedalia, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
