Nancy Lee Dettmer

Nancy L Dettmer, 82 Lakeland - Nancy Lee Dettmer died unexpectedly January 16, 2018 in Lakeland, FL at the age of 82. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles (Bill) W. Dettmer, 3 daughters Deborah Dettmer, Lori Dettmer and Kathleen Morissette, and 3 grandchildren: Jared Navarrete, William and Sophia Morissette, all of Lakeland FL. Nancy was born in Baltimore MD on December 22, 1935. She spent most of her life in Cincinnati OH where she and her husband Bill raised their daughters. Nancy worked as a special education classroom aide. Since retiring and moving to Lakeland FL, Nancy was a very active member of First United Methodist Church. She also volunteered her time at Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM) but her favorite thing to do was to spend time and spoil her grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church, 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, FL 33801.
