Nancy Jean Kimsey

Nancy Jean Shumaker Kimsey, 86 Nurse Lakeland " Nancy Jean died on June 23, 2011 due to heart failure at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Manor, Pennsylvania where she attended elementary and high school. She became a nurse and moved to Lakeland in 1962. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Shumaker and Clinton Kimsey. Nancy Jean is survived by her son, Robert Dale Shumaker and wife Carol of Dawsonville, GA, her brother, Dale Mathias of Lakeland, FL, niece Judy Fortin of Lakeland, FL, nephews, Dale Mathias of Bradenton, FL and Dean Mathias of NC, great nieces Michelle Simmers, Heather Kelly, Shannon Johnson, all of Lakeland, and Helen Mathias of NC. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery with husband Robert Shumaker. Expressions of sympathy can be made to VISTE 1232 East Magnolia St. Lakeland, Fl.
