Monica Rose Purvis Polk City " Monica Rose Purvis passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 11, 2016. She was born on October 18, 1982, in Bartow, FL, to Antonio and Rose Yzaguirre. Monica loved spending time in the outdoors at the beach, camping and had a great love for animals. She worked for Lakeland Police Department for 15, years as an Office Associate. She is survived by her husband, Preston, her parents, Antonio Yzaguirre Jr., and Rose (Hall) Yzaguirre, 2 brothers, Antonio Yzaguirre III (Margie), and Jasper Yzaguirre (Melanie). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, FL 33801 with a service following at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
