Miriam Holt Phillips

Miriam H. Phillips, 93 Lakeland: Miriam ""Mimi"" Phillips, 93, of Lakeland, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2012 of natural causes. She was born May 29, 1919 in Falco, Alabama. She lived in Daytona Beach, Fl for many years and then moved to Lake Placid, Florida. She has spent the past 16 years in Auburndale and Lakeland, Fl. She was predeceased by her husband, Marion Joshua ""Josh"" Phillips. She is survived by her son, Maurice (Claire) Phillips; daughter, Laura (Kermit) Russell; son, Josh (Christina) Phillips; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Miriam was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Auburndale, Fl. Visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 from 9:00 till 10:00 AM at Heath Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held following the visitation with Pastor Wally Draffin officiating. Burial will be in Punta Gorda, Florida that afternoon.
