Michael Gray Chase

Michael Gray Chase, age 79, passed away December 15, 2024. Born May 29, 1945, at Morrell Memorial Hospital, Lakeland, Florida. The son of William Ward Chase Jr. and Josephine King Chase. 

Mike graduated from Lakeland High School in 1963. He was a retired architectural design consultant of 34 years. 

 Mike is survived by his brother William “Billy” Chase III (Cheryl), Lakeland, Florida and sister, Cindy Chase Dodson (Charles), Mobile, Alabama. “Uncle Mike” to his nephew Robert Chase (Laura), Lakeland, Florida, niece Jennifer Campbell, Lakeland, Florida, niece Chase Meador (Bo), Mobile, Alabama, nephews Charlie Dodson (Natalie), Mobile, Alabama, John Dodson (Brooke), Mobile, Alabama and Jim Dodson (Lindsey), Fairhope, Alabama.

The visits to Boca Grande and Belleair Beach were his favorite past times. Mike had many friendships that he cherished. He was known to be sincere and kind in his words, always caring about everyone.

 His legacy to all who knew him will always be a “gentleman who was a caring friend.”
