Mark "Buck" Steven Hendrick

Mark “Buck” Steven Hendrick 71 of Lakeland, Florida passed away August 17th, 2023, after battling chronic illness.

Mark was born on September 12th, 1951, to Marcella and Seth Hendrick in Augusta, Georgia. Mark attended Fort Meade High School and graduated from Lakeland High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Alaska. After many years at Penske Truck Leasing, Mark retired as a parts manager.

After retiring, Mark loved fishing and hunting. He was happiest being around his family and friends and cherished his time with them.

Mark was predeceased by his father Seth Hendrick, mother Marcella Hendrick, sister-in-law Bonnie Hendrick and nephew Steven Hendrick.

He is survived by his brothers Richard (Ann) Hendrick, John (Nancy) Hendrick and Gary Hendrick; his sisters Cathy (John) Bush and Lisa (Louie) Roberson; seven nephews and nieces; 16 great nephews and great nieces.

The funeral service will be held graveside at Oak Hill Burial Park at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023.

In honor of Mark’s love for dogs, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Polk County, 3195 Dundee Rd., Winter Haven, FL, 33884, in lieu of flowers.
