Marie Sheldon

Lakeland: Ora Marie Sheldon, 86, of Lakeland, died January 10, 2012 from complications from pneumonia. She was born on February 23, 1925 to John and Della Blankenship. She attended school in Virginia and moved to California in the early 1940""s. She raised 9 children in California, and had a successful career selling Real Estate. She relocated to Lakeland, Florida after her retirement in the early 1980""s with her husband Bill. Marie was survived by 8 children, 1 stepson, 22 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband William Sheldon and her beloved daughter Lucinda Michelle. A prayer service will be held on Friday January 20, 2012 from 6-7 P.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel.
