Marie Ballard Caudill

Marie Ballard Caudill passed away peacefully at home with family on April 8, 2023, at the age of 93. The daughter of Ira Ballard and Bessie Ballard, Marie was born in Plant City, FL, on June 12, 1929, and was a lifelong resident of Florida.

She retired from The Florida Division of Forestry in 1996.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Zane Caudill, Sr., and her oldest son, David Zane Caudill, Jr.

Marie is survived by her children, Michael Franklin Caudill and Patricia Ann Watson (Lakeland); Pamela Elaine Caudill (d-in-law, Newnan, GA), Laurie Ann Caudill (d-in-law, Troy, AL); seven grandchildren, David Zane Caudill III and wife Kimberly, Shane Michael Caudill and wife Olivia, Brittany Nicole Goode and husband Michael, Jessica Marie Collado, (Lakeland), Shadoe Alexis Yelvington-Farr and husband Mathew (Ohio), Mary Michelle Caudill (Newnan, GA), Logan Mathew Caudill (Troy, AL); and twelve great-grandchildren, Aubree, Travon, Corbin, Trenton, Jezlin, Jayden, Kyley, Nicholas, Kaylee, Kelsey, Emily and Megan.
