Margie Tobitha Jackson was born in Kathleen, FL on May 08, 1929. In 5th grade, she stopped attending school to help with the family tobacco farm located in Mayo, Florida, where they resided. In 1946, the family relocated back to Kathleen, Florida, where Margie continued to help with the cows and farming. She became a caregiver to many throughout her life. In her twenty’s she began working for Publix where she held a job until 1968. On August 9th, 1958, she married Robert J. Iserhardt, and was married until his death on November 8, 2000. Her hobbies included gardening, she loved to grow pineapples. She had a green-thumb, she even air-layered a leaf and was able to grow a new pear tree from a tree located on her mother’s property. She was always crocheting, making hats and blankets, doilies and stuffed animals for children, family, friends, and the church.
Margie is preceded in death by her Husband, Bob Iserhardt; Mother and Father, William Andrew, and Mattie Lee; brother, John; and sisters, Nelma Lee, and Clarice.
She is survived by one sister, Martha Mae Smith, nieces, Marsha Smith, Elaine Piper, Candy Halferty, Suzette Ellison, Jill Kemp, Karen (Clements) Scrivener, great nieces, Charlotte McGahee, Andrea Smith Arce, Jessica Clements, Megan Clements, Shannon (Leggett) Woodford, great-great niece, Margaux Hall, Mallory Hall, Tara, Jessica Halferty, Christie, Olivia, Carson, Chloe, Lilah Woodford, Haley Good, Gwen Good, nephew, Kevin Smith, Chuck Ellison, Mark Ellison, great nephew, Bobby Kabrich, Mikey Kabrich, Eric Clements, great-great nephew, Little Chuck, Joshua Halferty, Justin, Oscar, and Flynn Woodford.
