Margaret Powell

Margaret Gallagher Powell 95, Lakeland Born Nov.3,1920 in Ownesboro Ky, Margaret transitioned into her next greatest adventure on Mar.11,2016. She will be joining her beloved husband Basil and daughter Alice Bratt who predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Janice Crawford and son- in- law Jim of Plant City, her grandchildren Thomas Gilmartin, Donna Gilmartin, Tracey Sutherland,Troy Clavell, Kelly DonCarlos, Paula Fredrikson, Wendy Kelly and Alli Bratt and their spouses, children and grandchildren. Margaret will long be remembered for her beautiful quilts, skills at bridge, being an elegant hostess, tenacious spirit and her tales of travel and living all over the world with her family before settling in Lakeland in the 70's. In lieu of a funeral, a family gathering will be held in New Smyrna Beach at a later date.
