Margaret (Peggy) Dulaney Matlock

Margaret (Peggy) Dulaney Matlock, 82 Teacher Lakeland- Mrs. Margaret Dulaney Matlock died at LRMC on September 14, 2014 due to complications from a stroke. She was 82 years old. She was born in Bristol, VA on September 27, 1931. Peggy was a graduate of East Tennessee State University. She was an active member and volunteer at the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, PEO, Bykota Sunday School Class and Circle 10. She was a supporter of Florida Southern College Golf Team. She was predeceased by her parents, William Davis Dulaney, Sr., and Dorothy Brown Dulaney, brother, William Davis Dulaney, Jr., sister, Carol Dulaney Boonsue. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charley C. Matlock, Lakeland, son, Mark D. (Kelly Fuchino) Matlock, South Pasadena, CA, and two grandchildren, Elliot and Griffin. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 72 Lake Morton Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33801. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church Sanctuary.
