Lucy Larosa

Lucy LaRosa, 78 Lakeland- Mrs. Lucy LaRosa died on July 2, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 9, 1938 in Buffalo, New York. Lucy was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church and the Stoney Pointe crocheting club. She was a Payroll Clerk for the State of New York for many years. Lucy was predeceased by her son, Frank LaRosa, two sisters, Sandy Douglas, Mary Marusza and two brothers, Louis and Joseph Sirianni. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Dominic J. LaRosa, daughters, Teri LaRosa, Julie (Daniel) Stedem, three grandchildren, Daniel (Kristy) Stedem, Sarah (Barton) Blackorby, William F. Chiesi, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Rose (Frank) Parlato, Ann Muffoletto and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Blvd. Winter Haven, Florida 33881. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass.
