Lonnie Clyde Simpson

November 14, 1935 — July 30, 2018

Lonnie C. (“Bud”) Simpson, born on November 14, 1935 in Billingsley, Alabama, passed away at age 82 on July 30, 2018 in Mulberry, Florida. He served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1974; the United States Civil Service from 1974 to 1994; and as an Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent from 1994 through 2017. Lonnie was the beloved husband of the late Elaine (Green) Simpson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Stange, and his grandson, Jeremiah G. Simpson. Lonnie is survived by his sons Jeffrey L. Simpson, Stephen C. Simpson and Lonnie L. Simpson; and grandchildren James G. Simpson; Hunter L. Simpson, Hannah E. Simpson and Harper N. Simpson.
