Lois E. ""Dolly"" Peterson 75 City of Lakeland Switchboard Operator Lakeland- Mrs. Lois E. ""Dolly"" Peterson died of heart failure on January 19, 2012 at Tampa General Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1936 in Lake Alfred, Florida. Mrs. Peterson was a Switchboard Operator at City Hall for over 20 years. She was a member of Trinity Life Church. She was predeceased by her husband Delton E. ""Pete"" Peterson. Survivors include her daughters, Darbi Peterson (Jeffrey) Sprague, Lake Mary, FL, Darla Peterson (George) Tolson. Lakeland, FL, three grandchildren, Richard (Heather) Doss, II, Ryan (Kimberly) Doss and Madison Tolson and three great-grandsons, Jayden, Gage and Riley.
