Lois Baker

January 5, 1949 — January 17, 2021

Lakeland – Lois was born in Sparta, GA to John Ruff Sr., and Georgia Mae Brown on January 5, 1949. Lois has 4 children, Robert Baker Jr., Trebor Baker, Aleshavon Ervin and Thaddaeus Baker, 4 siblings, John Ruff Jr., Eddie Roy Ruff, Christine Ruff, DC Ruff, and 19 grandchildren. Lois symbolized her dedication to do God’s will by baptism on September 6, 1970. As a dedicated servant of Jehovah, she filled her days in the ministry helping others learn bible truths. Always eager to share her love for Jehovah with others, she became a Regular Pioneer on October 1, 2016, fervently enduring in the work every day. She was very outgoing and would do whatever she could to help, comfort, and encourage others spiritually. Lois was a dear friend to many and cherished the many memories she shared with her family and friends. She loved to cook and was truly a “Baker”. Anyone who tasted her sweet potato pies or banana pudding would agree. In addition to cooking up scrumptious meals for her family and friends, Lois was very fashionable and loved to don a stylish hat. She took pride in looking her best despite failing health. Although Lois had many health problems she endured faithfully to the very end. She found comfort in the resurrection based on the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus. Her greatest hope is to be reunited with her children in Paradise on Earth enjoying life without end, free from sickness and death.
