Linda Joyce Hilleshiem

Lakeland- Linda Joyce Hilleshiem, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on March 13, 1944, to John and Myrtle Evans in Laurens County, Georgia. She had four brothers. She moved to Highland City, Florida as a child and attended Summerland Institute (Bartow High School) and graduated in 1962. She met and married her husband Wade in 1965. Together they had two sons, David and Tracy. She worked for Summit Consulting Insurance of Lakeland for 20 years before retiring in 2007. She attended Church of the Mall for nine years. She loved to spend time in her garden. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Wade, whom she has been married for 52 years; sons, David (Heather) and Tracy (Dawn); four grandchildren, Maysn, Titus, Trinity, and Savannah; four brothers, John Grable Evans, David (Pete) Evans, Prentice (Randy) Evans and Gregory Evans. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Church at the Mall, 1010 E Memorial Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33801 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am.
