Lillian B. Shafer

Lillian B. Shafer, 101 Education Lakeland " Lillian B. Shafer was born in Coleman, Georgia on April 4, 1910. She came to Lakeland in 1939. She taught in the Lakeland schools retiring in 1976. She was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church, Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She was preceded in death by her son, William W. Shafer, Jr. She is survived by her son Walter B. Shafer of Harrington, Maine, daughter, Luanne S. Collins of Anna Maria, Florida, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to College Heights Building Fund, 1042 South Blvd. Lakeland, FL. 33803. Services to be announced. Burial in Haines City, FL.
